Botánica. Estudio de las partes de una flor // Botany. Studying the Parts of a flower

 Preciosa primavera. Nos encantan las flores, el sol, los árboles en flor….
Así que aprovechamos para estudiar las partes de una flor. // Beautiful Spring. We love the flowers, the sun, the in bloom trees… So we studied the parts of a flower.
La plantilla la descargamos de Creciendo con Montessori y utilizamos el puzzle de la flor//We downloaded the stencil from Creciendo con Montessori and we worked with the flower puzzle.
Colocamos las partes del puzzle en la plantilla, y averiguamos cómo se llaman cada una de las partes de la flor.// We set the puzzle parts on the stencil, to know the name of the parts of the flower.
Cortamos una flor para ver de cerca los estambres y pistilo. // We cut a real flower to see in more detail the stamens and the pistil.
El polen. // The pollen
Otra de las flores que nos acompañan esta primavera // Another flower which is growing at home.
Una preciosa abeja libando de una flor, justo enfrente de casa. Hablamos sobre la polinización y la función tan importante que hacen las abejas en la naturaleza. // A beautiful bee sipping a flower, just in front our house. We talked about pollination and why the bees are so important in nature.

De jardineras // Gardening

Sofía tenía muchas ganas de plantar semillas para que crecieran flores rosas… así que manos a la obra, a trabajar con las herramientas // Sophia wanted to plant seeds, just because she wanted pink flowers…so get on with it. They worked with these tools.
 Pusieron una piedra en el fondo de la maceta para que no se saliese la tierra // They set a stone at the bottom of the pot, to keep the soil inside.
Añadieron las semillas // They added the seeds
Añadieron tierra para cubrir las semillas y colocaron las macetas. // They added soil to cover up the seeds and placed the pots.
 Un poco de agua y….// Some water and…
Y a esperar a que crezcan las semillas.. // and Just wait till the seeds grow. En el proceso de plantar las semillas, vimos a Chapita, nuestra tortuga que llevaba enterrada, hibernando todo el invierno, y que finalmente se ha despertado…. así que le pusimos agua y comida. // While we were planting, we saw Chapita, our tortoise that has been hibernating during winter and now she is awake and hungry, so we placed some water and food.

Partes de La Hoja // Parts of a Leaf

Paula quería ver cómo estaba la hoja que habíamos puesto a secar en nuestra prensa de hojas. La compramos en Jaisa Educativos. Vimos que la hoja estaba seca y la frotó con cera. //   Paula wanted to see how was the leaf that she had put to dry in our press leaves. We bought the press leaves in Jaisa Educativos. We saw it was dry and she rubbed with wax.
 Decidió colorear la hoja // She decided to colour the leaf
 Trabajó con el puzzle de la hoja y utilizamos una plantilla que compartió Creciendo con Montessori // She worked with the leaf puzzle and she used the stencil from Creciendo con Montessori
Luego nombró las partes de la hoja en la hoja que había dibujado // Then she named the parts of the leaf in the leaf that she had drawn.
Y terminó haciendo un libreto con las partes de la hoja // And she finished making a booklet with the parts of a leaf.
Y dibujó la hoja del puzzle… y nos la dedicó// and she drew the leaf puzzle that was dedicated to the family.
